Martha T. Chaffee (b. Dickinson) (1848-1927) was born in Constantia, New York, and died in Oswego, New York. In 1868 she married Willis G. Chaffee in Palermo, New York. He was a life insurance agent who later became the principal of a stenography school. By 1870 they were living in Oswego. In 1887 Chaffee was sent a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by her brother-in-law David J. Chaffee.
