Sarah C. Chevaillier (c.1830-1904) was born in Massachusetts and died in California. She was the mother of Alzire A. Chevaillier, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. A photograph of Sarah C. Chevaillier was published in the December 1906 issue of McClure's Magazine and was claimed by the magazine to be a photograph of Mary Baker Eddy. The claim was discredited by Chevaillier's son, Charles F. Chevaillier, who recognized the image of his mother.
