Julia C. Chidsey (b. Case) (1836-1892) was born in Simsbury, Connecticut,
and died in Avon, Connecticut. In 1859 she married Lucien H. Chidsey, a worker in grist
mill, and they settled in Avon. She was acquainted with Robert C. Hannon, one of Mary
Baker Eddy's students who was a Christian Science practitioner in Connecticut, and in
1887 and 1888 she subscribed to
The Christian Science
Journal.
