Caroline "Carrie" E. Church (1844-1901) was born and died in Pennsylvania. She attended Ingham University, the first chartered women's university in the United States. Church wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886, inquiring about Christian Science treatment for her brother Charles H. Church, who had travelled to Pasadena, California, due to poor health.
