Elizabeth X. Clark (b. Redden) (1855-1943) was born in Hantsport, Nova
Scotia, Canada, and died in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1878 she married John A. Clark
in Manchester, New Hampshire, and they settled in Worcester. He had served in Company E,
14th Maine Infantry, in the American Civil War and worked as a machinist in a loom works
for his career. In 1887 Elizabeth Clark wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to request a personal
interview with her, but it's not clear from the available records whether the interview
took place.
