Elizabeth H. Clarke
Elizabeth H. Clarke (c.1832-?) was born in Pennsylvania and most likely
died in Illinois. She became interested in Christian Science in 1885 and subscribed to
The Christian Science Journal. In the late 1880s, Clarke
maintained a healing practice in Chicago, Illinois, although she was never listed in the
directory of the Journal. She joined The First Church of
Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 31, 1892, and was a member
until her passing.
