William A. Dane (1822-1907) was a farmer born in Hamilton, Massachusetts, who died in Salem, Massachusetts. He had an interest in Christian Science, subscribing to The Christian Science Journal and purchasing other Christian Science literature. There is no record of Dane studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
