Julia A. B. (Briggs) Davis (1837-1914) was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and died in Westport, Massachusetts. She was introduced to Christian Science by Delia S. Manley, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's who had a healing practice in Fall River, Massachusetts. Davis was healed after studying Science and Health. There is no record of her studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
