Mary J. "Jennie" Emerson (b. Quinn) (1862-1927) was born in Ohio and died
in Toledo, Ohio. In 1886 she married George W. Emerson who worked in various capacities
for the railroad, including brakeman, conductor, and car repairer. She was an
acquaintance of Sarah J. Clark, one of Mary Baker Eddy's students.
