Julia C. Estes (1831-1905) was born in England and died in Cincinnati, Ohio. In early 1885 she received Christian Science treatment through prayer from Jennie B. Fenn, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. In 1887, her daughter, Emma A. Estes, took Primary and Normal class with Mary Baker Eddy. Julia C. Estes joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in March 1894 and was a Christian Science practitioner in Cincinnati, listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal from 1887 until her passing.
