Mark Faville (1832-1896) was born in Manheim, New York, and died in Dolgeville, New York. In early 1886, Sarah B. Van Buren wrote to Mary Baker Eddy on Faville's behalf. Faville had been suffering from an issue with his leg for many years. In her letter, Van Buren asked Eddy to heal Faville instantaneously. Eddy's reply is not extant and there is no record of her treating Faville.
