Frances B. Fisk (b. White) (1854-1888) was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin,
and died in Boston, Massachusetts. By 1870 she had moved with her family to Weston,
Vermont, where she married Winslow C. Fisk, a secretary and bookkeeper, in 1874. Soon
thereafter, they moved to Boston, Massachusetts. Frances and Winslow first studied
Christian Science in July 1886 with Henry P. Bailey, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, and
subsequently became students of Eddy themselves. They both took the Primary class in May
1887 and became members of the Christian Science Association upon completing it. In June
1887 the Fisks moved to Topeka, Kansas, in order to establish Christian Science there.
Frances was listed as a practitioner, and Winslow was listed as a practitioner and
teacher, in
The Christian Science Journal from 1888 until their
respective passings.
