Carrie L. Forsyth (b. Allen) (1861-1929) was born in Clinton, New York, and died in Cambria, New York. She was a schoolteacher. She married Arthur E. Forsyth, a farmer and grocer, in 1880. They moved to Buffalo, New York, by 1900; to Evans, New York, by 1910; and finally settled in Cambria by 1915. In 1886 Forsyth's acquaintance Mary E. Southworth wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures on her behalf.
