Stacy Fowler (1829-1892) was born in Sangerville, Maine, and died in Saugus, Massachusetts. He was a Congregational minister who graduated from Bangor Theological Seminary in 1861 and was ordained in 1862 at North Yarmouth, Maine. He became interested in Christian Science in early 1885 while he was the Boston correspondent of The Christian Union, a Christian family periodical.
