Joshua M. Frost (1856-1918) was born in Faversham, Kent, England, and
died in Mexico, Maine. He was a Methodist Episcopal minister at several churches
including: St. Johnsbury (Vermont), Waterville (Maine), and Skowhegan (Maine). In 1885,
he became interested in Christian Science after Mary Baker Eddy sent him a copy of
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. Later that
year, he presented an essay on Christian Science to his friends.
