Andrew Jackson Glover (1891-1940) was born in Nevada Gulch, South Dakota, and died in Lead, South Dakota. He was the youngest of Mary Baker Eddy's five grandchildren. He attended the public schools in Lead and by 1910 was working as a salesman in a confectionary store operated by his brother George W. Glover, III. In July 1910 he and George traveled by train to visit Eddy at her home in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. During that visit they presented Eddy with the gift of a gold pin from their father, George Washington Glover, II, and she presented each of them with an inscribed copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. In 1912 Andrew married Leonora M. Glover (b. Blanchard) in New York, New York, and they moved to Crook County, Wyoming, where he worked as a homebuilder and farmer.
