Elizabeth J. Gormly (1837-1915) was born in Pennsylvania and died in Lafayette, Indiana. She became interested in Christian Science in about 1885, and although she was never a Christian Science practitioner listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal, she did operate a metaphysical healing practice in Lafayette until about 1895. In November 1901 she joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, and was a member until her passing.
