Mrs. W. E. Gowing
Mrs. W. E. (Charlotte E.) Gowing (1836-1904) was born and died in
Wilmington, Massachusetts. She was a distant relative of Bradford and Martha E. Sherman,
who were both students of Mary Baker Eddy's. Although Gowing expressed an interest in
Christian Science, there is no record of her studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting
with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
