Eugene H. Greene (c.1852-1911) was born in Gorham, New Hampshire, and died in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing the Primary class with his wife, Grace (1884), Normal class (1886), and Obstetrical course (1887). He joined the Christian Scientist Association on July 1, 1885. He was one of the First Members of The Mother Church, later known as "Executive Members," who was one of twenty elected to join the original twelve members of the church when it was formed on September 23, 1892. Greene advertised as a Christian Science practitioner and teacher in The Christian Science Journal from 1887 to 1911. He also served as a member of the Christian Science Board of Education from 1904 to 1906, teaching several classes.
