Carrie B. Hammond (1867-1919) was born and died in Chatham, Massachusetts. She became interested in Christian Science after receiving Christian Science treatment through prayer from Alice B. Poole, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. In 1885 she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to ask for information on studying at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. There is no record of Hammond studying with Eddy.
