Mary E. Harris (1850-1934) was born in Newcastle, Maine, and died in Concord, New Hampshire. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, attending Primary class (January 1882) alongside her husband, Edward N. Harris, and then later Normal class (February 1886). She was a member of the Christian Scientist Association and, in November 1899, joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, remaining a member until her passing. Mary E. Harris advertised as a Christian Science practitioner and teacher in The Christian Science Journal for many of the years between 1884 and 1932.
