Hugh Hart (1850-1923) was born in Northampton, England, and died in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a signatory on the charter for the Massachusetts Metaphysical College and was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, studying with her in the fall of 1879. He was admitted to the Christian Scientist Association in November 1879 and was an active member of the Association until just before his resignation in January 1882.
