Robert H. Hawley (1854-1925) was born in California and died in Sacramento, California. He married Elizabeth Dwinell in Sacramento in 1883. He worked in the real estate business and was a Christian Scientist at the time of his death. His wife, Elizabeth Hawley, wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885, inquiring about the Massachusetts Metaphysical College.
