Laura M. Henderson (c. 1860-1922) was born in Dubuque, Iowa, and died in Lenox, Iowa. She married Joseph A. Henderson, a farmer and carpenter, in 1876. Henderson wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885, asking for advice on Christian Science treatment through prayer. There is no record of Henderson studying with Eddy or uniting with The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
