Mark Hickox
Mark Hickox (1819-1896) was born in Manlius, New York, and died in
Woodstock, Illinois. He worked as a farmer and married Betsey A. Abbott in 1847 in
McHenry, Illinois. He was a member of Calvary Commandery No. 25, Knights Templar of
Illinois. In 1886, Alice L. Hobbs wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures for Betsey, Hickox's
wife.
