Bradbury W. Hight (1838-1918) was born in Albany, Vermont, and died in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was a veteran of the American Civil War, serving as a Lieutenant in the 2nd Regiment, Vermont Infantry of the Union Army. Hight attended Albany Law School from 1865-66 and worked as a lawyer. He married Lillie Hight (b. Snow) in Council Bluffs in 1875. The Hights were students of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing the Primary class in January 1887. That February, they became members of the National Christian Scientist Association.
