Sarah E. Howard (1852-1922) was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, on August 10, 1852, and died in Somerville, Massachusetts, on January 27, 1922. She married James C. Howard in Jersey City on February 12, 1874. He was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, who was also a charter member and the first treasurer of the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. Their children were Clara, Alvin, Jennie, and Seth.
