Hezekiah B. Hulse (1832-1915) was born in New York and died in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He worked as a carpenter and contractor. Hulse married Mary C. Slocum, who became interested in Christian Science in late 1884. There is no record of Hulse studying with Mary Baker Eddy or joining The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
