Linna A. Ingalls (1872-1967) was born in Hill, New Hampshire, and died in Concord, New Hampshire. Her family moved to Concord in 1884. She was a member of White Memorial Universalist Church and its Unity Circle, the Woman's Club of Concord, and the Daughters of Union Veterans. Ingalls wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1910, asking if she would allow the Daughters of Union Veterans to use the flowers at Pleasant View, Eddy's previous residence, for Memorial Day. Eddy had done so in the past, and, according to her secretary Adam Dickey, it afforded her great pleasure to comply with Ingalls' request.
