Ellen L. Kilburn (1830-1894) was born in Massachusetts and died in New
Brunswick, New Jersey. She worked as an electric physician, using electricity for the
treatment and cure of disease. She married Andrew Kilburn, a salesman, in 1849. Kilburn
was a member of the Methodist Church and was involved with the Women's Christian
Temperance Union. Although she expressed an interest in studying with Mary Baker Eddy,
there is no record of her doing so.
