Sarah F. Lary (b. Burbank) (1824-1884) was born in Shelburne, New
Hampshire, and died in Gilead, Maine. Sometime in the 1850s she married Abraham B. Lary,
a farmer, and by 1860 they were living and farming in Gilead. Lary was the mother of
Evangeline G. Yates (b. Lary) who wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1884 to ask whether Eddy
might be able to give her mother Christian Science treatment.
