Katherine Lathrop (c.1867-1950) was born in Freeport, Illinois, and died in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Laura V. Lathrop and sister of John Carroll Lathrop, both of whom were active in the Christian Science movement for many years. There is no record of Katherine Lathrop studying with Mary Baker Eddy or becoming active in the Christian Science movement.
