Nellie A. Locke (c.1834-1924) was born in New York and died in Lynn, Massachusetts. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, studying with her in April 1871. Locke appears to have been unsatisfied with the instruction she received from Eddy and either received a refund or did not pay for instruction. In 1879, Locke was called to testify in the civil case Eddy v. Tuttle et al.
