Seabury T. Manley

Seabury T. Manley (c.1843-1904) was born in Little Compton, Rhode Island, and died in Fall River, Massachusetts. He and his wife, Delia, were both students of Mary Baker Eddy's; together they had Primary (1882) and Normal (1886) class instruction with her. He joined the Christian Scientist Association and Church of Christ (Scientist) in 1882, and in December 1892, united with The First Church of Christ, Scientist. In November 1886, he chartered the Fall River Christian Science Institute, where both he and Delia taught. He later became listed as a Christian Science practitioner and teacher in The Christian Science Journal, serving until his passing.
