
Isabella McCrackan (b. Banks) (1858-1929) was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and died in Bern, Switzerland. She married William Denison McCrackan (1864-1923) in 1887 in London, England. Her husband was a Christian Science teacher and practitioner, an Executive Member of The Mother Church, a Trustee of The Christian Science Publishing Society, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship, and an Associate Editor of The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel.
McCrackan studied Christian Science with Eddy's student, Augusta E. Stetson, and joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 2, 1900, at the same time as her husband. They were also members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, New York, New York.
