Guilford S. McKenzie (1902-1969) was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts,
and died in Mesa, Arizona. He graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge in 1923 and
eventually owned a plastics firm in Providence, Rhode Island. He married Gertrude L.
McKenzie (b. Wheeler) in Nashua, New Hampshire, in 1930. By 1942 they were living in
Concord, Massachusetts, and McKenzie later moved to Mesa around 1963. McKenzie was the
son of William P. and Daisette D. S. McKenzie, who were prominent Christian Scientists
and students of Mary Baker Eddy's.
