Martha E. McLean (1842-1920) was born in Glastonbury, Connecticut, and died in North Haven, Connecticut. She married William Sheldon McLean in 1869. McLean wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885, asking for advice on Christian Science treatment through prayer for her daughter, Ellena R. McLean. There is no record of Martha E. McLean studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
