John Mellor (c.1838-1898) was born in England and died in Burlington, Vermont. For many years he worked as a wool dyer at the Burlington Woolen Co., Winooski, Vermont. In 1886 he wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking for information on purchasing a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
