Allie E. Merrill (b. Webber) (1856-1907) was born in New York and died in Orofino, Idaho. She married Jessie W. Merrill, a merchant, in Hastings, Nebraska, in 1875. Sometime between 1880 and 1885 they moved to Monticello, Iowa, before relocating to Orofino in 1900. Merrill wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1887 to request a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
