Emeline A. Merriman (c.1829-1914) was born in Bath, Maine, and died in Washington, D.C. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing the Normal class in 1888 and joining the Christian Scientist Association later that year. In October 1892 she joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist. She was also listed as a Christian Science practitioner and teacher in the directory of The Christian Science Journal, serving until her passing.
