Kate L. Morse (1834-1887) was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and died in Omaha, Nebraska. She worked as a teacher and married Lorenzo Virgil Morse in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, in 1857. She received Christian Science treatment through prayer from Jennie B. Fenn, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, while living in Omaha in 1885. Morse wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885, asking for information about studying at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College, but there is no record of her studying with Eddy or uniting with The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
