Theresa "Thursey" M. Moseley (b. Hurt) (1840-1927) was born in Surry County, North Carolina, and died in Greensboro, North Carolina. She married James H. Moseley, a farmer in Surry County, in 1863. She was the mother of J. R. Moseley, who was a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science in Macon, Georgia. In 1901, J. R. wrote a letter to Mary Baker Eddy mentioning that his mother had been healed through her study of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
