Eliza Newton
Eliza Newton (1823-1885) was born in Albany, New York, and died in
Boston, Massachusetts. She received Christian Science treatment through prayer from
Arthur T. Buswell, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. Although she expressed this interest
in Christian Science, there is no record of her studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting
with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
