Mary W. Norton (1829-1889) was born and died in Eastport, Maine. She married Charles C. Norton, a merchant, in Eastport in 1852. She was the mother of Carol Norton, who was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's and a Christian Science practitioner, teacher, lecturer, church spokesman, writer, and poet. Based on the records available, we have found no further information concerning her involvement with Christian Science.
