Elizabeth Patterson, later Elizabeth O'Brien, (c.1854-1887) was born in Ireland and died in Boston, Massachusetts. She was the wife of Thomas Patterson, who studied with Mary Baker Eddy in early 1883. Calvin Frye, Eddy's longtime secretary, recorded Elizabeth Patterson as studying with Eddy in 1883; however, other evidence suggests this may have been an error.
