Almeda Pendleton (1834-1915) was born in Penobscot, Maine, and died in Everett, Washington. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, taking Primary (1884) and Normal (1886) class instruction. She joined the Christian Scientist Association in May 1886 and joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, on April 1, 1893. Pendleton was also a practitioner and Christian Science teacher listed in The Christian Science Journal, and a founding member of the first Christian Science branch church, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Oconto, Wisconsin.
