Lydia A. Pratt (b. Turner) (1849-1921) was born in Chester, Maine, and died in Minneapolis, Minnesota. By 1860 she was living with her family in Glenburn, Maine, and in 1869 she moved to Minneapolis and married Rufus L. Pratt, a dairyman who later went into the lumber business in Minneapolis. Pratt, who became interested in Christian Science in the 1880s, was a friend and patient of Eliza M. White, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's student Annie V. C. Leavitt. She was a member of the Society of New England Women.
