Caroline Putnam (b. Potter) (1855-1919), who also went by Carrie, was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, and died in Reading, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Charlotte K. Potter, an early student of Mary Baker Eddy's. Caroline married George Raymond in 1872, later divorcing him. She then married Marcellus C. Putnam in 1899. There is no record of Caroline studying with Mary Baker Eddy, but she did join the Church of Christ (Scientist) shortly after it was chartered in 1879. She attended meetings until her withdrawal in June 1881.
