Sophia E. Robbins (1837-1921) was born in Vermont and died in Saugus, Massachusetts. She married Edwin R. Robbins in Wrentham, Massachusetts, in 1860. The Robbins rented Mary Baker Eddy's home at 8 Broad Street in Lynn from 1882 until about 1884. They paid $500 a year in rent for the whole building but sublet the upper tenement while living in the lower tenement with Sophia's mother, Rhoda E. Abbott.
