George W. Robey (1838-1907) was born in Missouri and died in Tampa, Florida. In 1863, he married Rebecca J. Robey (b. Kelly). Robey was a Baptist minister in Iowa before retiring to Florida. In 1886, he wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order literature, having finished reading Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures which he had purchased from a friend.
